How It Works

Unlimited exchanges

Listen to as many audiobooks as you like each month at your own pace. There are no due dates, late fees or limits on how many books you can listen to during your membership period. As quickly as you send them back, we will send you new ones.

Audiobook selection

At Talking Book World we have a wide selection of new and classic audiobooks. Browse our library by category or search for specific titles, authors, or narrators.  Then, click on the Rental Queue button to add books to your list. You can change the sequence and/or remove titles later if you change your mind. Your first available choices are always sent. For best service, please add at least 20 titles to your rental queue.

No delivery costs

Our rental memberships include free shipping both ways via Canada Post. Have your audiobooks delivered directly to your home or office in easy to use packaging--simply place the CDs back in their original mailer and drop into a Canada Post mail box to return.  We will send out your next available choice as soon as we receive a package back from you.

We will do everything within our control to ensure you receive the best possible service. We are available 7 days a week by email or by phone during our retail business hours. Please feel free to contact us anytime.

For non-internet users

We often have patrons who are visually impaired or not computer savvy. We can still provide the same service by phone and with a paper catalogue if needed. If you are buying a membership for an elderly person or someone who is visually impaired you can have faith that we can help.
